The Edmonton Oilers have made a minor move, re-signing goalie prospect Olivier Rodrigue to a one-year, two-way contract. At the NHL level, his will carry a $775,000 cap hit.

Rodrigue spent all of last season with the Bakersfield Condors of the American Hockey League (AHL), where he sported a .912 save percentage (SV%) and 2.77 goals-against average (GAA) in 29 appearances. It was a notable step in the right direction for the 22-year-old, and now he will be aiming to build off of it in 2023-24.
