Luckily there’s an app for that (Actually there isn’t, but I’ve always wanted to say that).
Ashley Sinclair of Sherwood Park, Alberta, has been crocheting Emotional Support Playoff Chickens for the Oilers fan in your life who needs help regulating their emotions while watching the Stanley Cup Final.

Sinclair (under the banner of Very Good Crochet) was visited by CTV News recently, and shared in her own words what these stress chickens should be used for.
“They are just there to give you something to hold onto while you are trying to make it through overtime without having a heartattack,” Sinclair revealed. A lot of Oilers fans are right there with you, Sinclair.
She then explained what she does with her own stress chicken while watching a Cup Final game.
“I tend to toss mine back and forth a lot,” Sinclair said. “Just a little extra emotional support for what’s been a crazy rollercoaster for fans.”

Sinclair is taking orders for Emotion Support Chickens through her Instagram page. In her profile, there is a Google Form that customers must fill out.
Chickens are $20 each, and are available for pick-up or can be shipped locally as well as across Canada.
Once you have ordered, an invoice will be sent to you. You can pay via Square or E-transfer. At the time of this writing, all chickens that are ordered will now be ready after June 20th.
Since the end of April, Sinclair has sent more than 1400 stress chickens to Oilers fans all over Canada. In order to keep up with the demand, she had to hire seven people to help her crochet the chickens.
Those who already have a stress chicken should prepare themselves. Game 5 is scheduled for Saturday night at 6:00 PM Mountain Time.
