The Edmonton Oilers are gearing up for the regular season, and we have been given a look at what their lines could be. Here's a look at the lines they are currently rolling at training camp.
The Oilers' top six is identical to what they rolled with at their captain's skate earlier this month. Seeing Connor Brown and Connor McDavid reunite on a line together was expected. Meanwhile, the Oilers are spreading out their superstars by having Draisaitl as the 2C.
Oilers benchLane Pederson is noticeably taking reps as the 3C. This is because Ryan McLeod is dealing with a minor injury that will keep him out day-to-day. Sam Gagner is also missing from practice and will not play in any preseason games. Meanwhile, fellow PTO recipients Adam Erne and Brandon Sutter are filling out spots in the bottom portion of the lineup.

The Evan Bouchard and Darnell Nurse pairing were together at the captain's skate and continue to be at training camp. The same can be said for Brett Kulak and Cody Ceci. However, Philip Broberg has a new partner in Vincent Desharnais, as Mattias Ekholm is currently sidelined due to a hip flexor injury.

Rounding off the defensive depth are Markus Niemelainen and Ben Gleason. They both are competing for an extra defenseman role at the NHL level. As for the goalies, naturally, we are seeing Stuart Skinner and Jack Campbell as the main tandem.
