The Edmonton Oilers have re-signed one of their goalie prospects.

The Edmonton Oilers have made a minor move, re-signing goalie prospect Olivier Rodrigue to a one-year, two-way contract. At the NHL level, his will carry a $775,000 cap hit.

Rodrigue spent all of last season with the Bakersfield Condors of the American Hockey League (AHL), where he sported a .912 save percentage (SV%) and 2.77 goals-against average (GAA) in 29 appearances. It was a notable step in the right direction for the 22-year-old, and now he will be aiming to build off of it in 2023-24.

Oilers players look on during playoff game.

With Stuart Skinner and Jack Campbell being ahead of him on the depth chart, Rodrigue is likely to start next season with the Condors, rather than the Oilers
