On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy hockey managers to stream, roster or utilize in standard leagues and/or DFS games. Players and goalies highlighted for streaming in standard leagues are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues.
Dmitry Orlov, SJ vs. TB (24% rostered) - FanDuel $4,500
Look for Orlov to rejoin PP1 with John Klingberg unavailable for this game. He’s scored two points in his past three games, both on the power play, and filled in admirably earlier in the season. The Lightning PK is very good, but Orlov will at least share the ice with top scorer Macklin Celebrini.
Bowen Byram, BUF at CBJ (22% rostered) - FanDuel $4,800
Byram has three goals and four assists in his past five games, one of those rare stretches each season where he starts piling up the points. He doesn’t do this often or consistently enough to be a nightly threat, but when the points come in bunches, it’s best to take advantage. Byram offers little else, even in shot volume, when he’s not scoring.
Charle-Edouard D’Astous, TB at SJ (0% rostered) - FanDuel $4,200
If you missed out on Darren Raddysh, D’Astous may be a good consolation prize. Having signed an extension, D’Astous has been a solid contributor for the Lightning and currently runs their second power play. He has two assists in his past three games facing a defensively porous team.
