On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy hockey managers to stream, roster or utilize in standard leagues and/or DFS games. Players and goalies highlighted for streaming in standard leagues are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues.
Dougie Hamilton, NJ vs. TOR (85% rostered) - FanDuel $5,500
Hamilton continues to put a sluggish start behind him. He extended his point streak to three games Tuesday, notching a goal and an assist versus Florida. Over his last 16 games, Hamilton has collected four goals and 15 points, including six points (two goals, four assists) with the man advantage. The trade talk surrounding Hamilton has died down, but with New Jersey well out of a playoff spot, it's possible that picks up over the next 48+ hours.
Matthew Schaefer, NYI @ ANA (95% rostered) - FanDuel $6,600
Schaefer has all but locked up the Calder Trophy at the beginning of March. a few other rookies are in the mix, but they would appear to be looking at Schaefer. His two goals and an assist Sunday were the first three-point game of his career and he sits just three goals shy of Brian Leetch's rookie record for blueliners. Schaefer has 20 goals, 24 assists, 146 shots, 84 blocks, and a plus-14 rating over 61 appearances.
