On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues and/or for daily fantasy games.

Miro Heiskanen, D, DAL at MTL (97% rostered) – FanDuel $6,400

Heiskanen has been on an incredible run with a goal and 10 assists in his past five games. He’s become far more valuable than Thomas Harley in fantasy value when many had faded Heiskanen due to Harley’s emergence and his ability to generate offense. No defenseman in the league right now has a hotter hand than Heiskanen.

Charlie McAvoy, D, BOS at OTT (92% rostered) – FanDuel $5,800

McAvoy has quietly put together a very solid season, and with two assists against the Leafs extended his points streak to four games. Though he’s yet to score a goal, he has 14 assists in 17 games, and quarterbacks a power play that should easily take advantage of the league’s second-worst PK. For points, blocks and PP upside, McAvoy is a good value play relative to defensemen in the same tier.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson, D, TOR vs. LA (28% rostered) – FanDuel $5,100

OEL has turned back the clock with four points in his past five games and remains the QB on PP1. Should Auston Matthews miss this game, it’ll take a huge bite out of the Leafs PP, but OEL can still provide some modest value in shots and blocks.

John Klingberg, D, SJ at CGY (8% rostered) – FanDuel $5,200

Klingberg’s production has been modest but he’s quarterbacking a very talented power play and facing a very mid PK that ranks 18th. The Flames can be an undisciplined bunch, having taken 82 penalties this season, the second-highest total in the league. Klingberg is a boom-or-bust option but I like the matchup.
