Snag Jimmy Snuggerud, Marco Rossi, and Matt Savoie! These trending forwards offer fantasy points and late-season surges for your squad.

On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy hockey managers to stream, roster or utilize in standard leagues and/or DFS games. Players and goalies highlighted for streaming in standard leagues are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues.

Jimmy Snuggerud, RW, STL at UTA (39% rostered) – FanDuel $6,000

Snuggerud and the Blues’ top line is finishing the season on a particularly high note. The burgeoning power forward is on a three-game points streak with four goals and seven points with plenty of shot volume. A little curious that his ice time has dipped a little – you’d think the Blues would want to play him more in preparation for next season – but he’s been fantastic down the stretch nonetheless.

Marco Rossi, C, VAN at EDM (11% rostered) – FanDuel $4,700

A revitalized power play is giving Rossi a bit of a boost but he’s been playing well during his three-game points streak. With Elias Pettersson so unreliable, Rossi has emerged as their best option at center in fantasy. He’s scored 20 points in his past 22 games since March 1.

Matt Savoie, C/RW, EDM vs. VAN (6% rostered) – FanDuel $4,600

A quiet stretch for Savoie with only one assist in his past four games and zero goals in his past five, but this is as good a matchup as he can get against the league’s worst team. He’s averaging over 18 minutes in April, a huge jump from last month (16:55 TOI/GP) and an even bigger jump from the first month of the season (13:10 TOI/GP). He’s expected to play L1 with Connor McDavid.

Matthew Wood, RW, NSH vs. ANA (2% rostered) – FanDuel $4,200

A boom-or-bust streaming play though it’s a good matchup against a Ducks team that’s really slumping at the worst possible time, losing eight of their past nine and allowing at least four goals in seven of those losses. Wood might catch an even bigger break should the Preds start the struggling Juuse Saros. Wood is expected to center L2 between Filip Forsberg and Jonathan Marchessault.

Matvei Gridin, RW, CGY vs. LA (1% rostered) – FanDuel $4,700

Plenty of ice time for the rookie, who has played at least 18 minutes in three of his past four games. He played 16:03 in his first game back after sitting out due to illness, and his ice time should return to the 18-minute range in the season finale. The Flames are pretty decent at home and Gridin’s production (11 points in 19 homes games vs. 8 points in 17 road games) certainly shows it.
