Boost your fantasy roster! Discover overlooked forwards such as Quinton Byfield and Troy Terry, poised for big performances in upcoming matchups.

On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy hockey managers to stream, roster or utilize in standard leagues and/or DFS games. Players and goalies highlighted for streaming in standard leagues are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues.

Quinton Byfield, C/LW, LA at VAN (53% rostered) – FanDuel $5,400

Coming off a two-goal game in Calgary, his fourth goal in as many games, Byfield should have little problem against a team lacking depth at center. Byfield’s power and strength should be a big advantage over Elias Pettersson and Marco Rossi, and the Canucks’ defense and goaltending have been the weakest in the league all season.

Troy Terry, RW, ANA at CGY (46% rostered) – FanDuel $6,100

Not sure why a point-per-game player is so widely available, especially considering most leagues value scoring the most. Terry’s scored three goals in his past two games and the Ducks offense has scored 15 goals in their past three games. The Flames’ goaltending may have been tough to beat recently, but odds are they won’t be able to shut out the Ducks offense.

Anthony Cirelli, C, TB vs. SEA (42% rostered) – FanDuel $5,800

Good matchup for the Lightning with the Kraken losing eight of their past 10 and allowing almost five goals per game during their current four-game losing streak. Cirelli can be frustrating because he plays with good players and plays a lot of minutes but doesn’t score a lot of points. It’s not really his job, but the usage makes him a very attractive streaming option nonetheless on L1 with Nikita Kucherov.

Jimmy Snuggerud, RW, STL vs. SJ (23% rostered) – FanDuel $5,400

The Blues will dictate matchups and that’s going to be a huge advantage for a much deeper Blues team. Snuggerud has scored 13 points in 13 games since the Olympic break for a very effective top line for the Blues, and if the Sharks start Alex Nedeljkovic, it could be a boon for the Blues offense considering the Sharks have allowed five goals per game over the past week.

Mathieu Olivier, RW, CBJ at MTL (15% rostered) – FanDuel $3,900

Not sure where Olivier found his scoring touch this season, but it could be a good time to take advantage. He’s scored goals in bunches this season, including three in his past five games, while adding 15 shots and 21 hits. He’s great for multi-category leagues.

Vladimir Tarasenko, LW/RW, MIN at FLA (10% rostered) – FanDuel $4,900

Tarasenko’s scored five goals in his past five games and faces his former team in a potential revenge game. He’s very streaky and inconsistent at this point of his career, but the Panthers have numerous injuries, especially on defense.

Anton Frondell, C, CHI at PHI (5% rostered) – FanDuel $5,000

The Flyers can be stingy on defense, which obviously works against Frondell, but he’s been put in the best position on Connor Bedard’s wing. Frondell notched an easy assist in his NHL debut setting up Ilya Mikheyev on a rush scoring chance, and also finished the game with two shots, two blocks and a hit to show off his 200-foot game. Frondell’s proving he can provide multi-category coverage.
