Matt Duchene's heater headlines waiver wire gems. Discover surging forwards and value plays poised to boost your fantasy hockey lineup.

On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy hockey managers to stream, roster or utilize in standard leagues and/or DFS games. Players and goalies highlighted for streaming in standard leagues are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues.

Matt Duchene, C/RW, DAL at CGY (54% rostered) - FanDuel $5,400

Duchene scored two points Monday against the Canucks, his fourth multi-point effort in five games. He’s red-hot and centering L2 with Roope Hintz still on the shelf, and he’ll likely do the same against the Flames. The Stars are on an absolute tear with a franchise-best nine-game winning streak.

Adam Fantilli, C, CBJ vs. NSH (52% rostered) - FanDuel $6,000

Fantilli’s scored three goals and six points in his past four games and putting his 1C potential on full display on a line with Kirill Marchenko. Fantilli offers multi-category upside in shots, hits and face-off wins, and the Jackets’ top line is really the only one you want to focus on in this matchup.

Anthony Mantha, LW/RW, PIT at BOS (33% rostered) - FanDuel $5,400

Mantha brings a five-game points streak into this matchup and, once again, despite limited ice time is finding ways to score points and get shots on goal. The Bruins have a pretty leaky defense, averaging the sixth-most shots against per game.

Josh Norris, C, BUF vs. VGK (20% rostered) - FanDuel $5,500

Without William Karlsson, the Knights just don’t have enough depth at center to compete, and this is a matchup where the Sabres may exploit with last change on home ice. Norris scored two goals in his previous game and scoring at a pro-rated 74-point pace. When healthy, he’s an excellent fantasy player who can offer goals, shots, hits and face-off wins.

Luke Evangelista, RW, NSH at CBJ (10% rostered) - FanDuel $4,900

Evangelista has been a little snakebit with only eight goals on 125 shots (6.4 S%) but at least he’s still making up for it with assists, registering three in his past two games and 36 in 58 games on the season. Playing L2 with Filip Forsberg and PP2, Evangelista has a good chance to secure a point for the third straight game against a potentially tired team that nearly blew a 4-0 lead and allowing plenty of goals in the third period. The Jackets rank 11th in most goals allowed per game.
