Adam Fantilli's heating up, Tyler Toffoli shines with Sharks' top duo. Discover emerging forwards poised to boost your fantasy squad today.
On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues and/or for daily fantasy games.
Tyler Toffoli, LW/RW, SJ at CGY (44% rostered) – FanDuel $5,400
If you want some exposure to the Macklin Celebrini-Will Smith combo, this is the easiest way. Toffoli’s the veteran on this line and during the Sharks’ recent run has three goals and five assists in nine games. He’s historically done very well against the Flames in his career with 18 goals in 45 games, the second-highest total against any opponent.
Cole Perfetti, C/LW/RW, WPG at SEA (40% rostered) – FanDuel $4,700
Perfetti notched his first point of the season in his second game, shaking off any rust after missing the first month of the season. He’s entrenched on L2 and playing on PP1 right now, giving him lots of upside. He’s still not shooting the puck very much, though that may come as he gets up to game speed.
Adam Fantilli, C, CBJ vs. EDM (38% rostered) – FanDuel $5,100
It certainly felt like Fantilli was snakebit early in the season and now the pucks are starting to go in. He’s scored a goal in consecutive games and six of his 11 points this season have come in the past five games. The Oilers are playing the second game of a back-to-back and allowed four goals last time the two teams met. Fantilli recently moved up to L1 to center Dmitri Voronkov and Kirill Marchenko, and has also been featured on PP1 at times.
Victor Olofsson, LW/RW, COL vs. BUF (30% rostered) – FanDuel $5,600
Olofsson is in line to get increased ice time with Valeri Nichushkin expected to be out for a little while due to injury. The sharpshooter provides good shooting volume and a lot of upside in goals, and this is a game where the Avs should dominate. If the game gets out of hand quickly, depth scorers such as Olofsson may see more ice time than usual, perhaps even on the power play. Olofsson has four points in his past four games.
Jack Roslovic, C/RW, EDM at CBJ (29% rostered) – FanDuel $6,000
Roslovic returns to face his former team in his hometown and he’s been a very valuable member of the Oilers’ top six this season. He’s certainly raised his floor this season with increased shooting volume when in past seasons he was very much a boom-or-bust play.
Nick Robertson, RW, TOR vs. LA (5% rostered) – FanDuel $4,900
Robertson’s assist Tuesday against the Bruins extended his points streak to three games and now has eight points in his past seven games. He doesn’t get much ice time, but that may change should Auston Matthews miss this game. The Leafs will be looking for ways to generate offense, and Robertson’s name should be at the top of the list.
