Unearth hidden gems like Braeden Bowman and Adam Fantilli. Boost your fantasy squad with these surging forwards poised for big nights against struggling defenses.

On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy hockey managers to stream, roster or utilize in standard leagues and/or DFS games. Players and goalies highlighted for streaming in standard leagues are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues.

Adam Fantilli, C, CBJ at DET (44% rostered) - FanDuel $6,100

Fantilli’s two-goal effort against the Leafs gives him six goals in his past seven games, turning around a slow start to the season. He’s been their top scoring option between Kirill Marchenko and Dmitri Voronkov, and there’s a chance the Jackets offense can blow open an inconsistent Red Wings defense which has allowed five goals three times in their past six games.

Kyle Palmieri, RW, NYI vs. STL (25% rostered) - FanDuel $6,100

Jake Neighbours is expected to return to the Blues lineup but I doubt it makes a difference on the defensive side of things. Palmieri is playing L1 and PP1 with Bo Horvat, and he’s scored three points in his past three games. Though Jonathan Drouin is more talented, Palmieri is the far safer option in fantasy due to his shot volume. The Blues are still the worst defensive team in the league with a league-high 3.76 goals allowed per game.

Tyler Seguin, C/RW, DAL at CGY (24% rostered) - FanDuel $5,000

Seguin was shut out against the Canucks, snapping his three-game points streak, but remains on the top line with Jason Robertson. The drawback is Seguin plays PP2, but he should still get his fair share of PP TOI considering the Flames have taken 99 penalties, second-most in the league. The Stars have won three straight against the Flames with 14 goals scored.

Philipp Kurashev, C/RW, SJ vs. OTT (6% rostered) - FanDuel $5,300

Kurashev draws the plum assignment of playing with Macklin Celebrini and Will Smith, and I suspect Kurashev will get LW eligibility soon. Regardless, Kurashev is already reaping the benefits of playing with the Sharks’ dynamic young duo, scoring a point in each of his past two games. I think Kurashev can be a boom-or-bust pick because he can disappear for stretches and the PP2 deployment is not ideal, but betting on the Sharks’ offensive upside has been pretty rewarding so far this season.

Braeden Bowman, RW, VGK at ANA (4% rostered) - FanDuel n/a

Bowman continues to draw more and more attention in fantasy and recently had his first career multi-point game against the Mammoth with a goal and an assist. It’s clear the Knights have no qualms playing Bowman on L1 and PP1 with Jack Eichel, and the pair have shown some good chemistry.

Calle Jarnkrok, C, TOR at MTL (0% rostered) - FanDuel $4,300

The Leafs may mix it up again after scoring just two goals against the Jackets, but note Jarnkrok started the game on L1 with John Tavares and William Nylander. Though 15 games he’s put just 16 shots on net and scored four goals, so don’t get your hopes up. However, the Habs are absolutely reeling right now with a five-game losing streak and can’t keep the puck out of their net, allowing 27 goals during that span.
