On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues and/or for daily fantasy games.

Dylan Cozens, C, OTT at BUF (44% rostered) - FanDuel $5,200
Claude Giroux, LW/RW, OTT at BUF (16 rostered) - FanDuel $4,900

Potentially a great matchup for the Sens even without Brady Tkachuk against the hapless Sabres. Cozens is great for all-round category coverage with plenty of shots and hits, and despite centering L3 is slated to play PP1.

Giroux is now the crafty veteran at this stage of his career and plays much fewer minutes than he did before, but he remains a key cog on PP1. Despite not having C eligibility, Giroux takes and wins his fair share of draws if you’re looking for face-off wins.

Anton Lundell, C, FLA at DET (33% rostered) - FanDuel $5,500

Lundell’s scored four points in his past three games and quickly getting rostered in more and more leagues. His shot volume has increased from the previous season and the Panthers are running a 1A and 1B scoring line with Lundell and Sam Bennett.

Jake Neighbours, LW/RW, STL vs. CHI (18% rostered) - FanDuel $5,100

The Blues juggled their lines recently in an effort to get their offense going and Neighbours finds himself on L1 with Robert Thomas while Jimmy Snuggerud gets dropped to L3. Neighbours has three goals in two games and this is a good matchup for the Blues, who have only lost to the Hawks twice in regulation in 13 games since 2022.

Barrett Hayton, C, UTA vs. CGY (5% rostered) - FanDuel $4,600

Hayton didn’t register a point in his season debut but did play 16 minutes and finish with two shots on goal. No major changes are expected for the Mammoth lineup, which means Hayton will remain on L1 with Clayton Keller. Hayton and the Mammoth were good against the Flames last season; Hayton scored a point in each of their three games with the Mammoth outscoring them 13-5.

Zach Benson, LW, BUF vs. OTT (3% rostered) - FanDuel $3,800

Not much has gone right for the Sabres so far but Benson is expected to make his season debut following a face injury. He’s slated to skate L1 with Tage Thompson and Alex Tuch, taking the place of JJ Peterka who played there with immense success last season. I have doubts about the Sabres offense, which has netted just two goals in three games, but they should be better than that and Benson could be an under-the-radar play relative to his L1/PP1 role.

Emmitt Finnie, C/LW, DET vs. FLA (1% rostered) - FanDuel n/a

Mason Appleton filled in for Lucas Raymond after he was injured in their previous game, but I think Finnie has more upside and will be given a chance to play a bigger role on offense. He’s notched two helpers in three games so far and doesn’t shoot the puck very often, making him very boom-or-bust, especially against such a tough team.
