Unearth hidden gems like the Kings' Anze Kopitar and the Canucks' Conor Garland. These low-rostered forwards offer scoring potential for your NHL fantasy team.

On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues and/or for daily fantasy games.

Anze Kopitar, C, LA at CHI (47% rostered) FanDuel $5,600

The Kings lost in Kopitar’s return but the Kings’ captain didn’t seem to miss a beat, playing 19:57 and finished with four shots and seven face-off wins. He was back between Adrian Kempe and Andrei Kuzmenko, which means the Kings seem pretty eager to stick with Kopitar as their No. 1 all season.

Conor Garland, RW, VAN vs. EDM (32% rostered) FanDuel $5,800

The return of Brock Boeser did not displace Garland from the top line with Elias Pettersson, and Garland played over 22 minutes for the fourth time in five games while collecting two points against the Habs last night. The Canucks offense hasn’t been dangerous, but Garland’s line definitely has and they face the defensively porous Oilers next.

Ryan Donato, C/LW/RW, CHI vs. LA (29% rostered) FanDuel $5,600

Triple-position eligibility provides a lot of flexibility to roster Donato, who carries a four-game goals streak against an opponent that is not nearly as good defensively as they’ve been in the past. Donato is one of the few Hawks players where matchups don’t affect his production a lot because he’s a high-volume shooter and will get his shots on net no matter what.

William Eklund, LW, SJ at MIN (27% rostered) FanDuel $5,400

It was a quiet start but Eklund had three assists in an explosion of offense against the Rangers, then potted his second goal of the season the following night against the Devils. He’s playing L2 but PP1 with Macklin Celebrini, and the Wild have allowed the sixth-highest goals per game. This has a good chance be a high-scoring game.

Alexis Lafreniere, LW/RW, NYR at CGY (25% rostered) FanDuel $4,600

The Rangers are on the road, so I have few concerns about their ability to score, especially against a team that is getting caved in. Despite the lack of production, I still like Lafreniere’s deployment on L2 with Mika Zibanejad and PP1. Lafreniere is by no means a particularly good shooter, but shooting four percent is unsustainably low.

Marco Rossi, C, MIN vs. SJ (24% rostered) FanDuel $5,700

Here’s hoping for a high-scoring game between two teams that have been very inconsistent on defense but feature plenty of offensive talent. Rossi is expected to center Kirill Kaprizov and has had some success against the Sharks last season with four points in three games.
