Goalies

Jet Greaves, CBJ at FLA (44% rostered) – FanDuel $7,000

The return of Kirill Marchenko – he scored a goal last game – has certainly boosted the Jackets offense and that means they should be able to provide enough goal support. This is a tough road game, but the Panthers are a wounded animal going 0-3-1 so far in their six-game homestand and averaging just 1.75 goals per game. Greaves hasn’t been as sharp as he was earlier in the season but has also so far avoided any big blowups.

Jake Allen, NJ at BOS (36% rostered) – FanDuel $7,400

This is the second game of a back-to-back but this is also a much more favorable matchup than facing the Knights. This is a nice setup for a bounce-back for Allen who allowed five goals on 24 shots (.792 SP) against the Jackets, and the Devils so far have managed to avoid losing four in a row.

Brandon Bussi, CAR vs. NSH (15% rostered) - FanDuel $8,000

Bussi will get a chance to win his sixth straight game and this is a very favorable matchup against one of the league’s worst teams. It’s rare for the Canes to play two bad games in a row, and they’ll be looking to bounce back from a 5-1 loss to the Leafs. Bussi likely won’t see many shots – the Canes are excellent at suppressing them – but he should have an excellent chance to win his eighth game in his ninth start. Bussi doesn't provide good value in DFS games so he certainly has more value in standard fantasy leagues. 

Dennis Hildeby, TOR vs. MTL (7% rostered) - FanDuel $7,500

The Leafs are suddenly on a roll with three straight wins and part of the reason has definitely been their goaltending. Despite registering just one win in three starts so far this season, Hildeby has generally been very good, and in his previous start stopped 33 of 35 shots (.943 SP) against the Pens. Since 2020, the Leafs are 13-5-0 against the Habs at home.
