Goalies
John Gibson, DET vs. PIT (50% rostered) - FanDuel $7,900
This is a revenge game for the Wings, who lost Thursday in overtime. Gibson has been excellent since Dec. 1, winning a league-best nine games with a .925 SP and 2.21 GAA. With home-ice advantage and Gibson in net, the Panthers should be able to split the series.
Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, BUF at CBJ (25% rostered) - FanDuel $7,500
The Sabres were operating a rotation but may elect to go back to Luukkonen with Alex Lyon injured. Colten Ellis is available but has not seen action since Dec. 9, and it’s a tough spot to be in to keep their 10-game winning streak going while shaking off some rust. Regardless, either goalie should be worth streaming. The Jackets have been playing lately with a three-game winning streak that was just snapped in a one-goal loss to the Devils, but all the momentum is on the Sabres’ side, and it’s best to roll with the hot streak.
Calvin Pickard, EDM vs. PHI (10% rostered) - FanDuel $8,000
The Flyers struggle to generate offense and Pickard likely draws the start. He was excellent in Winnipeg with one goal allowed on 42 shots (.976 SP) while Connor Ingram took the loss against the Bruins in their previous game. The Oilers turned it around in the second half last season and it’s happening again this season; their firepower should be too much to overcome for the Flyers.
