Goalies
Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, BUF vs. WSH (46% rostered)
Sure, Luukkonen let in seven goals against the Lightning, but which goalie hasn’t been lit up by the Lightning? Despite leading the Atlantic, the Sabres’ goalies remain overlooked in fantasy, and Luukkonen gets a chance to earn his fifth straight win against a team playing the second half of a back-to-back with travel. Luukkonen defeated the Caps earlier this season in overtime after stopping 31 of 34 shots (.912 SP).
Jet Greaves, CBJ at FLA (66% rostered)
Greaves was not sharp in his previous start allowing five goals on 31 shots, but one thing he’s done very well this season is bouncing back from poor starts. There has only been once instance this season where he allowed at least four goals in consecutive games (Nov. 5-10) and that was early in the season.
He’s yet to lose in regulation and defeated the Panthers earlier this season, allowing two goals on 28 shots (.929 SP), and the Panthers haven’t played like a championship-caliber team this season with a poor defense and shaky goaltending. Greaves doesn’t have to be lights-out to win this game given the Jackets offense has provided plenty of goal support, too.
Arturs Silovs, PIT at VGK (21% rostered)
With six losses in their past seven games and looking for from being ready to challenge for a Cup, nobody should be afraid of the Knights right now. That’s not to say the Pens are the favorites, but the gap is certainly a lot smaller even though they’re still without Evgeni Malkin (suspension) and Sidney Crosby (injury). Silovs is a big reason why the Pens have been good on the road, too, with a .917 SP and 2.33 GAA.
