Even if the Oilers are missing Leon Draisaitl, they still have more firepower than the Panthers, who are playing like they can’t wait for the season to be over and missing several key players. Ingram is hunting for his third straight win after defeating the Preds and Sharks, and the Panthers’ road trip is not off to a good start with two losses and getting outscored 11-4. If there are any worries about post-Cup PTSD from the Oilers, note they defeated them 6-3 in Florida on Nov. 22.
Alex Lyon, BUF at SJ (51% rostered) – FanDuel $7,900
Even with Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen coming off a shutout, look for the Sabres to continue their rotation and start Lyon against the Sharks. Lyon has won five straight starts and the Sabres should have few problems facing the Sharks, who have lost two straight with 12 goals allowed. The Sabres have won six of their past eight meetings dating back to 2022, and the Sabres weren’t nearly as good as they are now.
