    Goalies

Connor Hellebuyck, WPG at VAN (100% rostered) - FanDuel $8,000

There was one weird game last season where Hellebuyck allowed five goals on 21 shots (.762) in a shocking loss to the Canucks, but otherwise he’s been excellent against them throughout his career with a 16-6-0 record and a .932 SP. Obviously, there’s a risk here – the Canucks are a tough out, having pushed the Avs to OT on Sunday, and hockey can be weird – but this is one of those rare times where the most costly goalie in DFS games is really the best option.

Darcy Kuemper, LA at MTL (92% rostered) - FanDuel $7,300

There’s a chance the much-improved Habs flip the script, but historically the Kings have dominated this matchup, winning eight straight matchups dating back to 2021. Even when the Habs have pulled off their rare win, they’ve usually been one-goal games. The Kings have played much better lately, winning two of their past three and limiting their opponents to two goals or less in those wins.

Jordan Binnington, STL vs. CGY (69% rostered) - FanDuel $7,000

Yes, this is a scary matchup because Binnington has not been good. There’s a chance Joel Hofer gets this start, but I think both Blues goalies should be good against the offensively-challenged Flames, who’ve been shut out twice. I think there’s plenty of value at this salary in DFS games, and Binnington is 8-1-0 in his career against the Flames. It’s a dice roll, but it’s a calculated gamble because I think the Blues are still the better team.
