    Goalies

Spencer Knight, CHI vs. CGY (86% rostered) – FanDuel $7,800

Among the better goalies available for DFS games, I prefer Knight for his high-volume saves and this is a great matchup against arguably the league’s worst team. The Flames can’t seem to consistently score, if at all, while the Hawks are rolling with four wins in five games.

Joseph Woll, TOR vs. STL (47% rostered) – FanDuel $7,000

Woll was fine in his season debut, stopping 29 of 32 shots (.906 SP) in a losing effort against the Hawks. His second start of the season should be an easier challenge against the Blues, who rank 25th in goals for per game. Even though the Leafs are missing several forwards, they should have no trouble providing goal support against the worst defensive team in the league.

One word of caution; Woll went 0-2-0 against the Blues last season even prior to their coaching change and historically been better on the road (.915 SP) than at home (.904 SP). However, the Leafs should still have the advantage and at this DFS salary is a viable value play.

Cam Talbot, DET vs. SEA (20% rostered) – FanDuel $7,700

I’m far more comfortable with Talbot in this spot, though I do think John Gibson’s still a viable play despite having lost five straight games. Talbot has won two games in a row with seven wins in eight starts, and the Kraken are not a team to be feared with a 28th-ranked offense. Talbot’s owns a career 5-3-0 record with a 2.69 GAA against the Kraken.
