It’s an early start time for the Canucks – 9:30 a.m. local time for them – but Demko has had two days’ rest so it shouldn’t be a big problem. Their past four meetings have been low-scoring, one-goal affairs, and such an earlier-than-usual start might see both team’s offenses sleepwalk through some of it. Demko has been excellent so far this season and he’s turned in some gems against the Caps though he doesn’t face them much; his most recent appearance against them was in February 2024 when he stopped 31 of 33 shots (.939 SP) in an overtime win.
Karel Vejmelka, UTA vs. BOS (74% rostered) – FanDuel $7,800
Vejmelka’s on a roll with three straight wins, and it really wasn’t even his fault when he lost the season opener; he allowed just two goals on 27 shots in a game where the usually reliable Mammoth offense couldn’t muster any more than one goal. Recently, the Mammoth offense has come alive and they’re facing a Bruins team playing the second half of a back-to-back and starting their backup.
