The Kings are expected to start backup Anton Forsberg – career 3.87 GAA against the Knights – and playing the second game of a back-to-back after hosting the Avs last night. I thought the Kings looked uncharacteristically disorganized on defense and the Knights bring plenty of firepower with Mitch Marner joining them in the summer.
Stuart Skinner, EDM vs. CGY (62% rostered) – FanDuel $7,200
There’s no doubt in my mind that Dustin Wolf at the other end of the ice is the far superior goalie. But what Wolf doesn’t have is two of the league’s best forwards providing goal support. The word out of camp was that Skinner had lost weight and looks as good as he ever has, which bodes well. I think the Oilers will get the win in front of an amped home crowd following McDavid’s two-year extension, and Skinner is auditioning for a spot on Team Canada.
