The burgeoning power forward seems like a natural fit for two-way center Nick Suzuki and sniper Cole Caufield, and the trio are playing together at both even strength and on the power play.
Though Slafkovský hasn't lived up to the lofty expectations of being a first overall pick, it's clear his play has improved significantly.
After starting the season averaging around 15 minutes per game, Slafkovský has averaged at least 18 minutes per game since December.
