Jason Chen and Michael Amato discuss the reasons why a move from the Ducks to the Flyers will prove beneficial to Jamie Drysdale's fantasy value.
The Sleepers and Keepers fantasy hockey podcast hosts Jason Chen and Michael Amato both agree that Jamie Drysdale was exactly what the Flyers blueline needed.
A right-hand shot with plenty of offensive skill, Drysdale automatically becomes one of the Flyers' best power-play options, though he'll likely share duties with Egor Zamula to start.
If Drysdale is deployed as a rover, he'll unlock plenty of offensive value with free reign to skate around the offensive zone as he wishes, just as John Tortorella had allowed Zach Werenski to do back in Columbus.
Drysdale is off to quick start in Philadelphia where he's already scored two points, one on the power play, in two games.
It also means that the Ducks will be leaning on Pavel Mintyukov again on the power play, though he's currently injured.
