Sleepers and Keepers Podcast: Patrik Laine at Center is a Good Thing

The Sleepers and Keepers fantasy hockey podcast hosts Jason Chen and Michael Amato discuss some interesting roster decision from the Blue Jackets.

Patrik LainePatrik Laine

Puck wizard Kent Johnson was healthy scratched in the season opener as new head coach Pascal Vincent attempts to set the tone, which tanked Johnson's fantasy value. But what's the point of scratching a promising young player on a team focused on developing promising young players?

They also touch on Elvis Merzlikins' strong play, and their new-found depth at center with Patrik Laine scoring goals and, surprisingly, winning close to 50 percent of his faceoffs.

It's pushed Adam Fantilli to the left wing... which means additional fantasy value with multiple-position eligibility.
