The left wing spot on the top line has been difficult to fill with Tyler Bertuzzi not seeming like a good fit and getting benched already this season. Now it's rookie Matthew Knies' turn, and his playmaking ability should be a good fit Matthews and Marner.
Nick Robertson was called up to provide scoring and it's going to be really hard to send him back to the Marlies if he keeps scoring at a point-per-game pace.
