Jason Chen and Michael Amato make their fantasy hockey sleeper and keeper picks for Week 23.
The Sleepers and Keepers fantasy hockey podcast hosts Jason Chen and Michael Amato make their weekly picks for the sleeper and keeper of the week.
Despite trading away key players and languishing at the bottom of the standings the entire season, the Sharks offer some sneaky fantasy options.
His keeper pick is Jackets netminder Daniil Tarasov, who's been excellent in his past eight starts and has the inside track on the starting job, both now and for future seasons.
Jason is going with Capitals prospect Ivan Miroshnichenko as his sleeper. The Capitals were impressed with the young Russian winger and opted to burn the first year of his entry-level contract by dressing him for his 10th game. There's a lot of upside if he can stay in the lineup.
Anthony Duclair is his keeper pick, currently playing on the top line with Nikita Kucherov and Brayden Point on the Lightning. Though he's streaky, he's also been put in a prime position to score points.
