The Panthers have lost back-to-back preseason games by a combined score of 16-9.

The preseason grind continues for the Florida Panthers on Saturday night in Sunrise.

That’s when the Cats will play their third game in four nights, and second straight against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Florida sent a roster featuring mostly younger prospects and AHL players to Raleigh on Friday, and they ran into a Hurricanes squad that featured most of what their Opening Night roster will be.

Now Florida will look to bounce back from the lopsided 8-2 loss, and they’ll do it with a few more NHL regulars in the lineup.

Anton Lundell, who has been battling a minor injury over the past week, will draw into the lineup for Florida.

It looks like we'll also see a couple of potential Opening Night defensive pairings in Dmitry Kulikov and Niko Mikkola, and then Nate Schmidt and Adam Boqvist.

Carolina also appears to have left many of their NHL guys back in North Carolina, so Saturday’s affair should see the Panthers play a much more competitive game this time around as the rosters are more evenly matched.

You can check out the full lineups for both teams below.

The pucks drops at Amerant Bank Arena on Saturday at 6 p.m.
