Edmonton had the better of the scoring chances in Game 1, but Florida's goaltender was out of this world

It was a fun and festive atmosphere inside Amerant Bank Arena on Saturday night for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final.

With their 3-0 victory over the Edmonton Oilers, the Florida Panthers were able to do something they had never done before: take a series lead in a Stanley Cup Final.

Credit to the Oilers though, they came out and gave Florida a real run for their money.

Edmonton controlled more of the puck, had the majority of the shots and scoring chances, and they also had the edge in power play opportunities.

If not for the heroics of Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky, the game could’ve have gone much differently for Florida.

After the final buzzer, The Hockey Show’s Roy Bellamy and David Dwork broke down Game 1 between the Cats and Oilers.
