WATCH: Sergei Bobrovsky goes after Brady Tkachuk during Panthers OT win

Bobrovsky popped up after making a save and popped Tkachuk in the face a couple times

Panthers forward Anton Lundell speaks after Florida's 3-2 overtime win over Ottawa on Feb. 20.

There was a moment during the third period of Tuesday's game between the Florida Panthers and Ottawa Senators that saw goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky do something a little unorthodox.

Normally very even keeled and locked in during games, Bobrovsky's anger appeared to get the best of him for a hot second.

It all happened after Bob made a save and covered the puck in his goal crease.

Ottawa forward Brady Tkachuk was on the doorstep and swiped at the rebound of a Vladimir Tarasenko backhand as Bobrovsky pounced on the puck.

Both Tkachuk's stick and his leg ended up around Bobrovsky as the players began to pile up, and it was at that point Bob seemingly had enough.

He jumped up and immediately thrust his gloves into Tkachuk’s face, hitting him a second time with his blocker hand before Tkachuk began angrily sent a few jabs back in Bob’s direction.

Neither player would be penalized on the play, and while Ottawa did end up tying the game a couple minute later, Bobrovsky and the Panthers got the last laugh in overtime.

Seeing Bobrovsky operating out of his norm was a little jarring to witness, but there's certainly not anything wrong with him showing some emotion.

This wasn't the first time these two have come together.

During Florida and Ottawa's first meeting back in November, a third period brawl was started after Tkachuk and Bob came together when Tkachuk upset Bob with an apparent late poke at the puck.

It happened more than one that night, and it would seem Bobrovsky didn't appreciate it continuing on Tuesday.

Bob still finished the game with 28 saves while winning his seventh consecutive start.

He's having an excellent season, currently with the third-most wins of all goaltenders. Bobrovsky's .914 save percentage ranks him seventh among goalies with at least 20 appearances while his 2.41 goals against average is good for sixth.
