The Florida Panthers are heading into a massive Game 2 matchup against the Edmonton Oilers. After a tough overtime loss in Game 1, the Panthers will now look to pick up a victory and tie the series up at 1-1. If the Panthers lose, they will be down 2-0 in the series, which would put them in a difficult spot.

Due to this, the Panthers will be hoping for these three players to have big performances for them in Game 2.

    Sam Bennett

While the Panthers lost in Game 1, Sam Bennett certainly had a solid night. The 28-year-old forward scored two goals in the contest and now has a league-leading 12 goals this post-season because of it. The gritty forward is simply playing some excellent hockey this post-season, and the Panthers need him to have another big night in an important Game 2 against Edmonton.

Bennett has been red-hot as of late, too. In his last six games, the 2014 first-round pick has recorded six goals and nine points. Let's see if he keeps his hot streak going in Game 2.

    Sergei Bobrovsky

Sergei Bobrovsky is naturally a major X-factor for the Panthers in this matchup. When the veteran goalie is on his game, he makes things incredibly difficult for opponents, and he will look to be in his elite form against the Oilers in Game 2 from here.

Bobrovsky stopped 42 out of 46 shots in Game 1 against the Oilers, which equates to a .914 save percentage.

    Brad Marchand

Brad Marchand is known for being a clutch playoff performer, and that has certainly been the case this year for the Panthers. In 18 post-season games for the Panthers thus far, he has recorded five goals, 15 points, and a plus-11 rating. This includes scoring a goal in Game 1 against the Oilers.

The Panthers will be hoping for Marchand to put together another impressive game for them from here. If he does, it would help the Panthers' chance of picking up a much-needed win.
