There is no question that the vibes are good with the Florida Panthers right now. After losing each of the first two games of their second-round series against the Toronto Maple Leafs, they have responded with three straight wins. This includes a blowout 6-1 victory over the Maple Leafs in Game 5.

While the Panthers undoubtedly possess plenty of momentum right now, Brad Marchand made it abundantly clear that he is not taking the Maple Leafs lightly heading into Game 6. While speaking to reporters, including TSN's Chris Johnston, Marchand shared that he thinks the Maple Leafs will come out extra motivated after their ugly loss to the Panthers in Game 5.

"If anything, it's going to make [the Maple Leafs] hungrier to have a bounce-back game and prove a lot of people wrong, which is a very dangerous game," Marchand said.

Marchand's take is understandable, as the Maple Leafs just suffered an ugly loss and now must win Game 6 or their season is over. Thus, the Panthers need to be ready for the Maple Leafs to give everything they have in this upcoming matchup.

It will be fascinating to see if Marchand and the Panthers can once again defeat the Maple Leafs in Game 6. If the Cats win, they will advance to the Eastern Conference Final and face off against the red-hot Carolina Hurricanes.
