The Florida Panthers got a bit more attention than usual during this year’s ESPY Awards.

Considering the usual is, well, none…but times they are a-changin’.

Florida’s biggest honor of the night was being nominated for Best Team of 2024.

Of course, they were one of nine nominees, so Panthers fans likely recognized their chance of winning was minimal at best, but that’s okay.

For at least the next several months, the Panthers can get the last laugh on every joke.

Yup, they have six fans. Nope, they can’t fill the arena. The ice is bad. They nearly blew a big lead. It literally rained on their parade.

    Nobody cares.

The Florida Panthers are Stanley Cup Champions.

Enjoy the glorious summer. It’s been 30 years in the making.
