Florida will not have a selection in either the first or third rounds

The NHL Draft is just around the corner.

That may seem strange to Florida Panthers fans, as their season just ended a couple days ago, but that’s what happens when you reach the Stanley Cup Final.

With a champion now crowned, we now know the full order for the upcoming 2023 NHL Draft, which takes place on June 28 and 29 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

The Panthers do not have a pick in either the first or third rounds.

Florida's first round selection was sent to Montreal in the Ben Chiarot trade, and their third round pick went to Philadelphia a few days later in the deal that brought Claude Giroux to the Panthers.

Florida's first pick will come at the end of round two, the 63rd overall selection.

All of the Panthers' exact round and pick numbers are as follows:

    Round 2, No. 63 overall

    Round 4, No. 127 overall

    Round 5, No. 159 overall

    Round 6, No. 191 overall

Round 7, No. 198 overall (from Arizona)
