Florida Panthers to welcome fans inside Amerant Bank Arena for Stanley Cup Championship ring ceremony
The night before Opening Night, fans can witness the Panthers hand out the first championship rings in franchise history

The Florida Panthers are bringing some major bling to Sunrise.
On Monday, Oct. 7, the night before Opening Night, the Panthers are holding their 2024 Stanley Cup Championship ring ceremony at Amerant Bank Arena.
The team is holding it at the arena in order to welcome fans to join them in this incredible and historic moment in franchise history.
“We have always been a community-driven team and wanted to create a unique way for our fanbase to share in this special moment with our players and staff,” Panthers President and CEO Matt Caldwell said in a statement. “As we prepare to raise our first-ever championship banner, we look forward to celebrating with our loyal fans before beginning another season at Amerant Bank Arena."
Back in June, the Panthers defeated the Edmonton Oilers in seven games to win the team's first Stanley Cup.
Now fans will have the chance of hearing from their favorite players while seeing them receive their Stanley Cup rings.
Tickets to the ceremony, which begins at 6:30 p.m., cost $20 with proceeds benefiting the United Negro College Fund of Fort Lauderdale and the United Way of Broward County's Mission United, through the Florida Panthers Foundation.
“Thank you to the South Florida community for being part of this past year’s run with us,” said Panthers General Manager Bill Zito. “This summer’s celebrations have shown the strong link between our fans and our team and we are excited to receive our rings in front of all you.”
There is no charge for parking for this event, and there will be discounted food and drinks inside the arena, according to the team.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
