To nobody’s surprise, the Florida Panthers are having plenty of fun while celebrating their latest Stanley Cup title.
Florida defeated the Edmonton Oilers in six games, capped off by Tuesday’s 5-1 victory at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise.
The postgame party started at the arena, where the Panthers celebrated in their locker room with family and friends for a few hours.
At one point, at around 1:30 a.m., Panthers Captain Sasha Barkov strolled onto the ice with the Cup in hand and enjoyed a few celebratory moments with team employees who were partying in a different area of the arena but could see him on the ice.
It was around 5 a.m. that Barkov got back to his home in Boca Raton, where he then decided it was time to head over to his neighbor’s house for some more fun with the Cup.
How do we know? Because his neighbor posted the Ring camera footage of Barkov ringing the bell on social media!
By the time the sun was rising, the fun found its way east to Fort Lauderdale Beach.
That’s where Barkov was spotted with the Stanley Cup as the sun was coming up, as soon the party made its way to Elbo Room.
Sam Bennett, Sam Reinhart and of course Matthew Tkachuk were among the Panthers players sharing the Cup with fans and pouring beer out of the Cup onto a few lucky ones down below.
Eventually, a group of Cats piled into Tkachuk’s golf cart and headed to a private party at his place.
Brad Marchand was seen holding onto the Stanley Cup from the back seat of the golf cart, and at one point, it was swarmed by fans after being stopped at a drawbridge.
Once the group finally arrived to Tkachuk’s house, they were spotted out back having some fun by the pool.
At one point, they started waiving as a helicopter hovered above the waterfront home.
The Panthers then wrapped up their day of celebrations with a team dinner at Earl’s Kitchen and Bar along Las Olas.
That’s just one day, though.
With another three days until Sunday’s Stanley Cup parade, it’s pretty much a certainty that we’ll be seeing them all over town partying with the trophy and their fans for the rest of the week.
