The Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers are set to play each other in the Stanley Cup Final for the second year in a row. The Panthers will look to repeat history by defeating the Oilers again, but it certainly won't be easy with how much star talent Edmonton has.

While speaking to reporters, including NHL.com's Amalie Benjamin, Panthers star Matthew Tkachuk said he expected this Stanley Cup rematch and argued that Florida and the Oilers are the clear two best teams in the NHL.

"I believed that it was going to be us two again. I think we're the two best teams in the league," Tkachuk said about the Panthers and Oilers. "And if everything would go right, it would probably be us two again in the Finals. I have that confidence in our team and they were the best team that we played last year in the playoffs. I stand by that. I believed it at the time. And here we are again."

Tkachuk viewing the Panthers and Oilers as the top teams in the NHL is certainly understandable. They are both in the Stanley Cup Final for the second year in a row and have each been dominant this post-season. Now, we have another great series ahead of us between the two elite squads because of it.

Tkachuk has certainly played a big role in the Panthers being back in the Stanley Cup Final, as he has been excellent this post-season. In 17 games, he has five goals, 16 points, and a plus-4 rating. This includes two goals and seven points in five games against the Carolina Hurricanes in the Eastern Conference Final.
