The Florida Panthers are back in the Stanley Cup Final after knocking out the Carolina Hurricanes in the Eastern Conference. The Panthers' goal will now look to defeat the Edmonton Oilers for the second year in a row and win the Stanley Cup yet again.

This is the third year in a row that Paul Maurice has led the Panthers to the Stanley Cup Final. Now, with Florida prepping for their series against the Oilers, Maurice had something significant to say about the 2025 Panthers.

While speaking to reporters, including the Miami Herald's Jordan McPherson, Maurice admitted that this year's Panthers club is the best team he has ever coached.

"I'm not being disrespectful to the other teams I've coached, but this is the best team I've ever coached. It's not really that close," Maurice said.

Maurice certainly gave the Panthers' current roster massive praise here, as he has coached some excellent teams over the years. However, even with this being the case, he clearly sees something special in this 2025 Panthers squad.

The Panthers will now look to prove that Maurice's opinion is correct by winning the Stanley Cup yet again this year. It will be intriguing to see if they can do just that from here.
