If you thought the injury to Matthew Tkachuk meant you'd be seeing less of him lately, you thought wrong.

Tkachuk won't be on the ice with his Florida Panthers teammates when they take the ice in Nashville on Tuesday due to an injury that he suffered during the 4 Nations Face-Off last week.

He will, however, be making an appearance on a very popular late night talk show.

Monday night, Tkachuk will join celebrities Chelsea Handler and Billy Crudup as a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

    You read that correctly.

Matthew Tkachuk will be taking on Johnny Carson and Jay Leno's s old stomping grounds, cutting it up on national television.

Clearly, the reach from the 4 Nations tournament is still holding strong.

We'll see what Tkachuk has to say, but odds are he'll do quite well as he often does when on a big stage.

The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon will air Monday night at 11:35 p.m. on NBC.
