    Merry Christmas, Panthers fans!

A quick note to wish everyone who celebrates a great Christmas holiday.

Just like with Thanksgiving, may your day be filled with food, family and football.

The Florida Panthers, along with the rest of the NHL, are taking some time off thanks to the league’s annual holiday break.

Here are a few fun Panthers notes as a quick holiday treat.

The Panthers are 10-5-0 at home so far this season. It’s only the fourth time in franchise history Florida has recorded 10 wins at home in 15 or fewer games. It also happened in 1995-96 (12 games), 1999-2000 (13 games) and 2021-22 (10 games).

Sam Reinhart leads the Panthers with 19 goals and 40 points in 33 games this season.

He is the fifth different player in franchise history to record 40 points in 33 games or less.

Reinhart also leads all Florida players with nine goals, 11 assists and 20 points on home ice.

He also has nine power play goals, which is tied with Colorado’s Valeri Nichushkin and Vancouver’s Brock Boeser for most in the NHL.

Sergei Bobrovsky has logged 15 wins in 25 starts. Only three goaltenders (Thatcher Demko and Alexandar Georgiev with 17, Connor Hellebuyck with 16) have more victories this season.

Carter Verhaeghe’s game-winning power play goal on Saturday was also his 100th as Panther. He’s only the 13th player to score 100 goals with the franchise, and the only player do to it faster was Pavel Bure.
