asen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports - Panthers host Vancouver looking for third straight win

The Florida Panthers will look to go above .500 for the first time this season when they welcome the Vancouver Canucks to Amerant Bank Arena on Saturday night.

Season opening losses in Minnesota and Winnipeg have been followed up with wins over New Jersey and Toronto.

Now Florida will host a Vancouver squad having the exact opposite experience to their 2023-24 campaign, coming out of the gate with a pair of wins before dropping their last two.

Panthers goalie Sergei Bobrovsky has started every game so far for Florida and he’s expected to be back in net against the Canucks.

Bob’s play in each of the two Panthers wins has been excellent. He’s stopped 60 of the 64 shots he’s faced and his rebound control has been improved.

We’ll see how he fares against a Canucks squad that has scored 15 goals in only four games. That 3.75 goals per game average is good for sixth-best in the NHL.

Here are the projected lines and pairings for Saturday’s game against Vancouver:

Evan Rodrigues – Sasha Barkov – Sam Reinhart

Carter Verhaeghe – Eetu Luostarinen – Matthew Tkachuk

Nick Cousins – Anton Lundell – Justin Sourdif

Ryan Lomberg – Kevin Stenlund – Steven Lorenz

    Gus Forsling – Oliver Ekman-Larsson

    Niko Mikkola – Dmitry Kulikov

    Josh Mahura – Uvis Balinskis
