Florida partnered with Dangers Inc. to create an incredible projection show on the ice ahead of Eastern Conference Finals games in Sunrise
There is no denying that the Florida Panthers have been the most exciting thing on the ice in Sunrise for quite a while.
Now there may be a close second.
An exciting new projection system has been installed at Amerant Bank Arena that has brought an entire new level of pregame entertainment to the Panthers home barn.
With Florida reaching the Eastern Conference Finals for the second consecutive season, the Panthers wanted to step things up for their fans.
The team partnered with multimedia entertainment company Dangers Inc. which has worked with several professional sports teams to install similar projection experiences, such as the Denver Nuggets, Tampa Bay Lightning, San Jose Sharks, Colorado Avalanche and Toronto Raptors.
Dangers also worked with the Panthers during last year’s postseason.
This year, Dangers installed a system at Amerant Bank Arena that consists of eight UDX-W32 projectors that incorporate 3D content, which can be seen in the video at the top of this page.
That end result, which debuted before Game 3 of the conference final between the Panthers and New York Rangers, was a collaboration between the Dangers team and Florida’s game presentation and in-house content teams, with the Panthers crew handling a large amount of the content creation.
While the system is only a rental, the Panthers will be keeping it through the end of the playoffs, whenever that may be.
