Florida enters Tuesday's game holding a 2-3-0 record on the young season

The Florida Panthers will be back in action on Tuesday night at Amerant Bank Arena.
For their second straight home game, the Panthers will be facing a Western Conference opponent that failed to make the playoffs last season.
Florida lost 5-3 to the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday and will be looking to bounce back when they host the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday.
There will be some familiar faces on both sides, with former Panthers winger Anthony Duclair now playing in San Jose, and the man he was traded for, Steven Lorenz, suiting up for Florida.
"I'm looking forward to seeing some familiar faces, but at the same time, business is business, so I'm not going to be too nice to them out there," Lorentz said on Monday.
Additionally, a couple of Panthers players will be skating in their first games with the club.
Forward William Lockwood is expected to suit up after Florida loaned rookie Justin Sourdif to AHL Charlotte on Monday, as the Panthers only have 12 forwards on the active roster.

Of course, head coach Paul Maurice could also elect to dress 11 forwards and seven defensemen, so we’ll see how things shake out at the morning skate.
The second player making his Panthers debut is goaltender Anthony Stolarz, who signed a 1-year deal with Florida during the offseason.
He’s served as backup to starting goaltender Sergei Bobrovksy in each of the Cats’ first five games.
Here are the Panthers projected lines and pairings for Tuesday's game against San Jose:
Evan Rodrigues – Sasha Barkov – Sam Reinhart
Carter Verhaeghe – Eetu Luostarinen – Matthew Tkachuk
Nick Cousins – Anton Lundell – William Lockwood
Ryan Lomberg – Kevin Stenlund – Steven Lorenz
Gus Forsling – Oliver Ekman-Larsson
Niko Mikkola – Dmitry Kulikov
Josh Mahura – Uvis Balinskis
Anthony Stolarz
