The NHL went back to its fantasy hockey days, holding a player draft to select the four 2024 All-Star squads.

The teams were selected by a combination of NHL superstars and celebrity captains.

Those celebrities were Justin Bieber, working with Auston Matthews and Morgan Reilly from the Toronto Maple Leafs, Michael Bublé working with brothers Quinn and Jack Hughes, Will Arnett with Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl and Tate McRay with Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar.

The first four picks were Nikita Kucherov to team Bublé, William Nylander with team Bieber, Sidney Crosby to team McRae and Connor Hellebuyck to team Arnett.

Florida Panthers All-Stars Sam Reinhart and Sergei Bobrovsky went off the board back-to-back, and thanks to the snake draft, they went to the same team.

With the final pick of the fifth round and the first pick of round six, Team McDavid plucked Reinhard and Bob off the board.

They’ll be wearing the white all-star jerseys.

Bobrovsky was the fifth goalie off the board, coming after Hellebuyck, Alex Georgiev, Thatcher Demko and Jake Oettinger.

Joining Reinhart and Bobrovsky on team McDavid are David Pastrnak, Rasmus Dahlin, Robert Thomas, Boone Jenner, Nick Suzuki and Tomas Hertl.
