
Florida will don its 30th anniversary jersey patch three times this season, starting Thursday when they host Los Angeles
There will be a new addition featured on the Florida Panthers’ jerseys when they host the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night.
When the Panthers take the ice at Amerant Bank Arena, the front of their jerseys will include a special 30th anniversary patch.
Florida has been celebrating its 30th anniversary season and on Thursday the team is holding its first of three decade-themed nights, celebrating the decade the Panthers came into existence.

That means a Panthers 90s hockey puck will be given away the to all fans attending Thursday’s game (the first of a three-puck series) and fans will be treated to 90s music throughout the night, including from singer-songwriter Montell Jordan.
Jordan, who is best known for his hit song “This Is How We Do It” will be singing the National Anthem as well as performing during the first intermission.
As for the special jersey patches, the Panthers will wear them three times this season; for the three decade-themed nights at Amerant Bank Arena.
The next one is on March 7 when Florida hosts the Philadelphia Flyers, and the third will be on March 28, when the New York Islanders are in town.
Additionally, after the jerseys with the 30th anniversary patches are worn by Panthers players, the game-used gear will be available for purchase later this season.
