There were 28 Panthers who lifted the Stanley Cup on the ice after they became champions

Panthers forward Sam Bennett speaks after Florida won the Stanley Cup.

Wednesday marks exactly one month that the Florida Panthers have been Stanley Cup Champions.

It was the night of Monday, June 24 that the Panthers defeated the Edmonton Oilers in Game 7 at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise.

Considering the dramatic way the series played out, with Florida winning the first three games and then Edmonton winning the next three, there couldn’t have been much more drama and intrigue packed into that night.

In the days and weeks since, we’ve spent a good amount of time here at THN Florida discussing and dissecting much of the celebrations that followed the emotional victory.

One of the things we did not do was publish the order in which the Panthers players hoisted Lord Stanley’s Cup during the postgame celebrations.

Obviously things got started with Florida captain Sasha Barkov being handed the Cup from NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman.

Form there, it traveled to 27 different Panthers until ended up in the hands of their head coach, Paul Maurice.
