Evan Rodrigues, Paul Krepelka and Paul Fenton have each had their day with the Stanley Cup over the past week

Evan Rodrigues, Paul Krepelka and Paul Fenton have each had their day with the Stanley Cup over the past week

The Florida Panthers have done an excellent job this summer helping the Stanley Cup rack up the frequent flyer miles.

When the team first began receiving their 24 hours with the Cup, it trekked across North America for a while, from the Florida Keys to the mountains of British Columbia.

More recently, Keeper of the Cup Phil Pritchard has been spotted with Lord Stanley visiting the Panthers’ contingent in Finland and Sweden.

From skateboarding to fishing to helicopter rides, the Panthers time with the cup in Europe did not disappoint.

Now the Cup has returned to North America, most recently spending time in New England.

Evan Rodrigues’ day with the Stanley Cup included perhaps the cutest image we’ll get this summer. He and his wife Christie dressed up their two sons as little Keepers of the Cup, and it was just as adorable as it sounds.

Panthers Senior VP of Hockey Operations Paul Krepelka also received his day with the Cup, and he made sure to share it with his hometown community in Arlington, Mass.

He held a public event at Ed Burns Arena, the local hockey barn, that was free for all to enjoy and be with the Stanley Cup.

Down in Cape Cod, Panthers Senior Advisor Paul Fenton brought the Cup to Captains Golf Course in Brewster, Mass.

Fenton and the Cup were brought to the event as the stars of a parade, escorted by Brewster first responders, according to CapeCod.com.

Later this week the Stanley Cup will be closer to its home in Toronto.

Sam Bennett is receiving his day with the Cup on Friday and as part of his plans, he will be hosting a public event for locals in his hometown of East Gwillimbury, Ontario to see the famed trophy.

The event at the East Gwillimbury Sports Complex starts at 9 a.m. and Bennett will be there to meet fans, sign autographs and take photos with the Stanley Cup. For more information on the event, click here.

With only a month or so left in the offseason, it’s sad to think these Stanley Cup stories will soon come to an end.

We’ll certainly be keeping an eye on where it heads next.
