The Hockey Show returned this week with a packed episode full of content from the sport we all love so much.

Joining hosts Roy Bellamy and David Dwork was longtime sports journalist Israel Guiterrez, who had heard such great things about The Hockey Show that he wanted to sit in on a recording and witness the awesomeness firsthand.

In addition to Roy and Dave’s wins and losses of the week, as well as their hot takes, they dove into the week that was with the Florida Panthers.

Florida went 2-1-1 over the past week despite losing captain Sasha Barkov to a lower-body injury and Matthew Tkachuk due to an illness.

Also this week, friend of the program John Buccigross from ESPN stopped by to chat about next week’s Frozen Frenzy in which all 32 NHL teams will be playing, with the games all featuring staggered start times, beginning at 6 p.m. ET in Philly.

The boys also talked to Bucci about a few of the early season surprise around the league, and a couple things that made them smile.
