Rose takes the mic on this week's episode of The Hockey Show as playoff races tighten and the Panthers' injury woes escalate.

It was a Rose takeover this week on The Hockey Show.

THN host Roy Bellamy was out with an upper-body injury and is considered day-to-day, so Roy’s co-host David Dwork called in some reinforcements.

Those reinforcements were MLB Network and Amazon Prime Monday’s Adnan Virk and THN producer Rose Arias, but she decided to take over driving the show instead.

Adnan joined the crew with this week’s wins and fails, which included some emotional honesty from an NHL goaltender, another rough night on home ice for the New York Rangers, a broadcaster taking an uncalled for swipe at the Panthers fan base and a nasty spear that cost an AHL goalie his spot on the ice.

The crew also discussed several teams who have had their once-promising seasons be called into question, including the San Jose Sharks and the Detroit Red Wings.

We couldn't get through an episode of The Hockey Show without talking about another Florida Panthers injury.

Evan Rodrigues joined Florida's never-ending injured list on Thursday night after breaking his finger on his first shift of the Panthers' loss to Minnesota.
