The Panthers have a few big games this week, can they end the week out in the top spot?
With just about a month to go in the NHL Regular Season, it looks to be a three-team race for the number 1 seed in the Eastern Conference between the Florida Panthers, the Boston Bruins, and the New York Rangers.

These three teams all sit within 1 point of each other, as the Bruins currently sit atop the standings with 95 points, while both the Panthers and Rangers sit at 94 points with a game in hand.
This Week’s Schedules
Florida Panthers
Thursday March 21 vs Nashville Predators
Saturday March 23 @ New York Rangers
Sunday March 24 vs Philadelphia Flyers
Boston Bruins
Tuesday March 19 vs Ottawa Senators
Thursday March 21 vs New York Rangers
Saturday March 23 vs Philadelphia Flyers
New York Rangers
Tuesday March 19 vs Winnipeg Jets
Thursday March 21 vs Boston Bruins
Saturday March 23 vs Florida Panthers
There will likely be movement in the standings this week. All three teams play the same amount of games, and the Rangers will take on both the Bruins and Panthers.
From a Panthers perspective, while a win over the Rangers would obviously be ideal, they have a tall task in front of them Thursday as well, as the Nashville Predators come into town the hottest team in hockey.
The Preds are 13-0-2 over their last 15 games and have not lost in regulation since a 9-2 loss to Dallas on February 15. The Panthers on the other hand have lost two games in a row in regulation for the first time since mid-December and want to put an end to this “streak" of their own Thursday.
Big week ahead for the Panthers in the race for that coveted number 1 seed in the East.
